We have 3 layers for our backup system. Every layer have different permission for accessing.
How backup is going on ?
Basicly all backup will start at midnight on server and store on production server, this is called layer 1. Then will synchronize to layer 2 and layer 2 will synchronize again to layer 3. Layer 3 have limited access and use for audit in internal only.
We have policy about backup for all our services as below:
Hosting services: SSD Hosting, Linux hosting, Windows Hosting, Reseller Hosting, Email Hosting, Email Relay have following policies:
- Daily: retension in 7 days.
- Weekly
- Monthly
Virtualization: Email Server, VPS, Reseller VPS have following policies:
- Weekly
- Monthly
Server: we do not have backup policies for dedicated server and colocation services but you can request backup storage on layer 2 for your server to avoid data lost when your server have problem.
You could request special backup for your service, just submit a ticket to our helpdesk system or drop a messages to email sales@vhost.vn then we will responde as soon as possible.
